Update 2016
The Fiat was sold last September (2015) as it was being under utilised. It was a great van, but in reality we generally only needed it for day trips, so onwards to the next project.
New Project
The new van will be very much a day van, which can go anywhere a car can.
The base vehicle is a 2005 SWB Renault Trafic.

Update
Looking at the blog, I suddenly realised I hadn't posted for months....
Well, the relay has been sold and a fiat Ducato has been built to replace it. Basically the same van, again with a leisuredrive roof, but a different layout, some pictures follow:

Double swivel seat
A few pics of a concept I was working on, a double seat from a VW T5 with an added swivel, does have room to turn 180 degrees.
But the seat is rather narrow and not the comfiest, and compromises my new design too much, so won't be using it normally, but may keep it for use when an additional passenger is required.
Seat is bolted down for travelling and a couple of eye bolts are undone to allow it to swivel on site.
Unfortunately there aren't any decent photo's and it's now jammed into the shed....
But here's a picture from the rear.

Not to be bothered about selling it, but would swap for a standard double seat from a Relay, Ducato or Boxer (2002-06 models)
